Well, if someone just gave tanks, rockets and helicopters to the Palestinians, they could launch rockets into apartment buildings like the Israelis do. I'm sure that the Palestinians would much rather just sit back and cowardly push buttons to send in rockets rather than having to commit suicide. I am not condoning what Palestinians are doing. It is NO better or worse than the end effect of Israeli children being killed by Israeli soldiers and settlers. The US has removed Iraq as an enemy of Israel, now just get out of the territories. Israel has 77% of the original mandate. Let them have the 23% sans settlers.
