It is truly amazing how some posters will ignore the history of oppression in the Arab middle east by their own leaders and focus on imperfections in tiny Israel. I wonder how those posters would react, living under threat of death, targeted by cowardly groups, that would use children, other people's children in suicide attacks, that target civilians, with minimal hope of hitting a military target.

With all the wealth, power, and land in the Arab world, it would have been very easy to settle the plight of the refugees over the past 60 years.

Yet, these Palestinians are kept in camps, in horrid living conditions, solely to keep the focus on Israel. This enables the corrupt leaders, Arafat, the OILogarchs, the tyrants, to oppress their people, gather their billions, while their people starve and are educated to more hatred, martyrdom, etc.

It's been estimated by Arab accountants that Arafat has pilfered an estimated billion dollars from funds, largely US in origin, that would have helped his people. Of course, he is a minor leaguer compared with the other tyrants of the mideast Arab world.

As well, the PA leadership doesn't allow its people to pursue their own lives

Let other parties' lack of vision or misdirected intent be on their own shoulders.

We are talking about Israel. And how it oppresses Palestinians.

Can you try to separate issues for one minute and ignore your distaste for Arafat. That could perhaps get us start questioning Israel.

Or is EVERYTHING Israel does OK because Arafat is bad, too?
