Raymond, there is no such thing as legality of immigrants to Americas. The first whites who came to America achieved the goal Hitler tried to achieve in 1939. If Nazi won the war they would be writing the law who can come from other parts of the globe to Europe. Keep always in mind that the law of the land is written by those who don't pay taxes. You can compare illegal immigrants to the first ones who risked their lives for their conquest of the land which didn't belong to them until generations were born and native people pacified. Both past and present had and have the same goal in mind. Only level of risks changed.

Legal laws being cumbersome, immigrants come legal or illegal. It is unstoppable. If there is a market for the immigrants skills, and I not mean building rockets, I mean driving taxis, cooking food, tending gardens, babysitting and ironing clothes, the immigrants will come even to do this to the PM of Sweden, which was a real case there. It's been always like that: lots of illegals, than amnesty. Just make them legal and tell the Americans who don't get it to put up and shut up. It's been done with many issues, like waging war in Iraq, bombing Afghanistan seeking bin Laden, why not with immigration issues too?
