So...What is the relationship of those biblical rules to what people who believe the "Scriptures" to be inerrant believe today?

Are they, and the rest of the OT, part of what's referred to as the Scriptures?

Sidney, this could be a question for you, too. Is the OT considered by fundamentalists, or others, to be just an interesting, primitive, barbaric old document, or do they believe it? Does anyone believe in those marriage rules today? Are they considered a source of embarrassment?
