I did run regcleaner and found the following back up info:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501}\InprocServer32]
@="C:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\msjava.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Both"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501}\ProgID]
@="MSJava"

I also did a search on msjava.dll and it wasn't on my machine.

Do you think if I could get a copy of msjava.dll and place it in my System32 folder the java download from sun would work???

I'd try downloading it again and if it is still unsuccessful go to the last two urls and troubleshoot. Here's the download link.
