Ted Re...Here's an example of a national guard archive in WI. Just remember that the records of service men are confidential. Therefore, Bush had to authorize their release. BTW the gaps are not due to the nat. guard not storing "unessential records" as your post suggests.

I don't have anyone's permission to go into his personal records, so I can't find out what information is stored. And I can't be sure that Wis natl. guard records, are stored the same as Ala. So, while that is a fine link, it really doesn't resolve anything. If there were records held back, I would think, someone would have found something by now.
