There's no such thing as a free lunch, Michael. The current credit rating of the US is what makes it possible for UW to enjoy his little "windfall" plus have interest rates so low. It is a situation that won't continue forever, though it probably will continue for a few more years. Maybe even long enough so that UW and you will "enjoy" it for the rest of your lives. But your children won't fare as well. It won't continue that long.

Profligacy, even when it is "hidden," always ends the same way.

And your presumptions both about what I want and how I have fared are absurd. It figures though that you would presume these things.
