The news announced tonight that 30.000 additional soldiers will be needed to continue our present military obligations. Rumsfeld has enacted the Emergency Powers Act to get those soldiers.

RUmsfled said he will get additional soldiers as needed for future actions in the wear on terror.

The war on terror will be the excuse for all further military actions.

Sorry, I can't help you if you can't sort out the committees of the Senate.

But you did help. Thanks.

More importantly, here is the Lion of the Senate, a man who laments that at age 84, it is his sad fate in life to attempt to salvage what little we have left of democracy in mid-North America.

Byrd is the only member of Congress that I ever sent an e-mail to commending him for his defense of the Constitution. And I don't even live in WV.
