Louis, Nice chart. I see this the same way. I keep thinking of the 2 year countertrend period in the mid 70's cutting the PoG in half. One of 2 things will happen here: 1. Gold tanks 2. Gold rockets. I don't think it will stay still for long at 400.

Louis, the coms covered heavily on last report, and I'll bet they did again this week. They have really widdled em down.

I have wondered if they soon go net long, or if the short again on up to the next top.

It is possible that I am overreading your chart a little, but it looks like the most recent low in price was not associated with a new low in open interest. Maybe there is a "usable" divergence hiding in there...
