(a) The various regions of China all share the same written language. This is not the case in the languages you use as an example.

(b) Neither Germany, Holland, nor Denmark appears particularly backwards, so why should this be an example of what will happen to China, LOL.

(c) Everyone in China is educated to speak Mandarin anyway.
