Your verbose response still leaves the most important question unanswered: Is it now the policy of this site to allow threads whose main purpose is to promote personal attacks on other members of the site? The threads that Laura referenced most definitely do that. You need to unequivocally denounce the practice and remove the threads in question. I know that Bob has a quite uncommon knack for impartiality and evenhandedness, but this is the standard you surely wish to emulate. At least, we hope...
