Sure there is a difference - the probability of survival as you kill the enemy.

I cannot agree with you that it is somehow despicable to go to battle with no hope of return. Thousands of young soldiers have fought battles with the advance knowledge that there would be no return. Still, they got out of the trenches, sometimes as the first wave, knowing full well they would be shot down.

The despicable thing about the Palestinians' suicide attacks is not that they are sometimes carried out by 18-19 year olds. Neither is it the near-zero hope of survival.

The despicable thing about this whole suicide attack strategy is that it TARGETS CIVILIANS, which is an inexcusable and unpardonable thing.

By the way, yes, I really would like to see that Hitler quote.
