Saddam was not linked to 9-11 or terrorism against the US. He was a different type of potential threat. It was very strange and disturbing the way Bush quickly forgot about Al Qiada and put everything behind a Saddam ouster. Me-thinks it 'twas the oil, special interest contributions = special interest action. Grab the oil and reward those who brought you to the dance, and vice versa. Today's story about how Cheney ignored Tenet's intel warnings is another ray of sunlight into the deceptions of the neocons.
