To all I wrote to the Chron- got a reply saying they did not complain to SI :-) I asked them for permission to publish the email they sent me- if I get permission I will publish it. To their credit they said they don't have time to pursue crappy posting issues like this one. So it's probably just some SI crank, or our SI representatives aren't telling us the whole truth and nothing but the truth (and wouldn't THAT be a surprise...)

Re: Actually I think I copied that FROM a post on SI- hope they complained about that post as well... X, I've been posting copyrighted articles ever since I've been a SI member... Sometimes I even took the liberty to "subvert" them by changing a few names, verbs, etc. to the dismal of SI's self-appointed McCarthys... And never, never did SI's warden (be it Bob, Dave, whoever) complain about it. If anything, that guy Dave had better enforce SI's TU rules as regards rrufff, kovaliov, lorne and other creeps who keep insulting and smearing long-standing posters, calling them Nazi, Hitler, anti-Semite,.... Well, I guess that guy Dave doesn't want to run afoul of his ADL, WJC overseers, does he? Gus
