This fica issue is another sacred cow that is soon to be slaughtered though. If we have to make cuts to make SS viable, then fica starts to look more and more like the tax that it is vs. the overused comparison that SS is an insurance program.

Steve,
I'd suggest you are weak.

I was talking about income taxes and you want to talk about social security.

Quit paying out SS money to people that never paid into SS and I would guess it would be doing pretty good about now. What do you think?

Btw, you mentioned estate taxes, not me.
