I'm sorry, but I can't figure out why you have written all that.

I brought up settlements as proof that Israel's occupation is not just about "preventing terrorism" but has a lot to do with a land grab. I said Israeli settlements cover 30% of the land area of Gaza, even though the settlers number only 6,900 against a Palestinian population of 1.3mn.

Do you think that is justified?

>>>Can you really say Israel has a presence in Gaza only because they want to prevent terrorism in their own country?<<<
I'd say because Arafat didn't make peace in 2000. Gaza was going to be part of the Palestinian state. And I'd attribute their periodic military incursions into Gaza to terror fighting, yes.

That's no answer.

Do you not understand what you read??? I am talking about SETTLEMENTS, not "periodic incursions". Geez...

Answer the question: Can you really say Israel has a presence in Gaza only because they want to prevent terrorism in their own country, given that their settlements now cover 30% of Gaza, although Israeli settlers number 6,900 against a Palestinian population of 1.3 mn???
