Dick, at least the firewall question was aired again. It may help someone else decide. Gottfried

Doesn't Microsoft XP Home Edition provide a fire wall. I have Norton Anti-Virus Protection and thought I had a fire wall with my XP program. How does one ascertain whether or not one has a fire wall. If I don't have one.. what do you suggest doing.

Thanks,

Suma

I've not had IE or OE on my machines in 7 years and I use WordPefect office suite instead of the M$ variety

Yes, but you are obviously a deviant. -g-

I do use MS, IE, OE, and use Microsoft Word and Excel. I was also a deviant for years and used WordPerfect, Lotus 123, and Netscape. Somehow I lost my way -lol-. All of MS is crap but I do like Microsoft Word, it is the best imo, Excel too has finally become the best spread sheet for macros etc.

Oh yeah, in my case the use of a firewall is a must, I have loads of other protection as well.

I have to ask... OE?

What is "OE"?

When I see it, I think of Order Entry, but I don't think that's what you're referring to...

So, what is it? :)

I wonder if it is "Opera"...??

Thank you,
Joe
