I would be "Mr. Literal", if he said the weapons would be used to blow up American cities within a matter of years" but I complained about you saying that they would be used in aa matter of months. Those things are so close that complaining about the difference could be considered nitpicking. But he didn't say either of those things or anything extremely close to either.


Its nitpicking.......period.

Bush all but said we were in serious danger of attack. Blair went further and claimed that elements of the British domain were in danger of attack within 45 minutes. Bush was more careful and gave less specifics.

Most Americans and Brits. did not have their 'vision' re. Saddam and Iraq. Bush and Blair had no choice but to step up the threat.
