rruff, you have been fairly neutral as I have seen from your posts here on SI threads. I am looking for reason to vote for an incumbent since that would be easy to do.

Do you seriously think that we have "made a dent" on the war against terrorism? Weren't these well planned, well organized attacks such as one at WTC and most recently in Spain supposed to have been a thing of the past?

We need a worldwide intelligence network to combat terrorism. A network consisting of France, Germany and Russia and many others. Right now we have the US going its own lonesome way.

You fight a worldwide organization such as the Al Qaeda with a worldwide organization such as the UN since the UN does not advocate war but certainly can achieve peace by eliminating the Al Qaeda through intelligence gathering and swift action to swoop down on them.
