Those people should go protest their leaders who have refused to negotiate unless backed into corners. Again - I sympathize and empathize with your friends. I wish it were not the case. If you polled most Israelis, I bet they would feel the same. There is a difference between what you are describing, and I wish it were not the case, and those who cowardly use other people's children as suicide weapons, intentionally killing as many civilians as possible, with almost no chance of hitting a military target.
