I think that all is not exposed from both sides. The whole truth needs to be spoken.

Sharon and Arafat BOTH need to step down as they are old warriors who have hated each other for decades. New blood maybe better able to negotiate something worthwhile.

The Israeli's played into Arafat's hands as they killed everyone that could have taken his place. And that is from people in Palestine. Arafat is in control now more than ever.
