Why do you think they underfund government watchdog agencies that look out for interests of the working class, like OSHA, EPA, Mine Safety Admin, etc. Because they stand in the way of corporate profits. We saw it begin in the Reagan era and it has accelerated under George W. If the Republicans were the only party in power, do you even think such agencies would even exist? They have a plan and it doesn't include the bottom 95% of America.
