Suicide bombers, at least those used by the cowardly Arab manipulators, target civilians, with only minimal chance of hitting any military target.

You call that BRAVERY? Why does that surprise me?

I suppose you consider the 9/11 actions "bravery" "legitimate military tactics."

I don't think there is anything to glorify (ex: re bravery) in being so desperate and griefstricken as to commit suicide, taking unsuspecting civilians with you.

I think they are both (mostly) willing to sacrifice their lives- it's just that fighter pilots hope they won't have to. My dad flew in a bomber in WWII, and let me tell you, he knew he could easily forfeit his life, and he did it willingly (though he was not happy about what he had to do in the mopping up operation in Japan- but that's another story.)

Suicide bombers are many horrible things, but they are clearly not cowards- however, neither are most of our men and women in service.

I don't believe that is true. Both are fighting for
the cause they believe in - but most fighter pilots go after other military targets.

Suicide bombers go after civilian targets....I don't think
you can equate the two.

War is hell, that's for sure - either way.

We have an opponent who has adopted terror as a new means of war. This will require new modes of thinking to combat.

The difference is that suicide bombers are braver than fighter pilots. Both want to kill other people for a cause, but only one is willing to sacrifice his own life.

Yes, it takes real bravery to blow oneself up next to women and children still in strollers. Sounds like you are trying to paint a glorified picture of these murderers.
