Do the French leave out (from their statistics) those who stopped looking for a job after 4 weeks or 8 weeks or whatever? The unemployment rate in this country is 0.0% .... if you simply leave out all those who have no unemployment.

Those who say this country's unemployment rate is 5.5% or thereabouts are employed in the statistics fabrication industry.

<<They tested George Bush, and are getting their asses>>

Yeah they attacked and we took Sadaam out of power, something Al Qaeda has wanted for years. When we leave Iraq will become a Muslim state. Invading Iraq fractured world unity against Al Qaeda, something else they wanted. And our occupation has been great for recruiting.

I'd say Bush is making a lot of mistakes.

Why don't we go to the source of the problem? What is inflaming the Muslim fanatics? The answer is, in part, in significant part, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Why don't we devote all of our diplomatic energies to resolving that conflict?

What gives the Al Qaeda edge to recruit and sacrifice their own lives some of them even lawyers, with families is the Palestinian question.

According to O'Neill's book, at the very first meeting of the National Security Council, 13 days after he took the oath of inauguration, he said, "We're not going to bother with Israel. It's insolvable. Let's let them find their own course for the time being."

If he had devoted the Clinton emphasis to it, we could have reduced this volume of terrorism.

<<America is not a socialist country btw.>>

The entire Western world has become more socialist since WW1. Get over it.

Bush is a genius at regime change, i'll give him that. So far he's put the leftists in power in Germany, South Korea, and now Spain.

Now that's steady, not to mention clever, leadership.

Spain just gave the green light to all terrorist groups that their attacks will eventually succeed in breaking the spirit of the people in the West... a vote for kerry is a vote for more terrorist strongholds...
