JF, If they were to have to send you to Korea, it might not be so peachy over there. There would probably be a good reason.

No doubt about it, but let me put it this way. Every single one of my male cousins has either served in the Korean army or will have to serve thanks to the Korean draft. I've seen how South Korea has prospered, and I consider that worth fighting for, especially if I get to fight alongside my cousins.

So what was the original point you were trying to make? That Bush is somehow leading us into a position where the draft will be necessary? Sorry, but I don't share that view, at least not in regard to Korea.
