Don't the Spanish have troops in Afghanistan? Last time I checked, there was no opposition to that from the Spanish people

Do you think OBL and AQ differentiate between Iraq and Afghanistan? Why?

Hope Spain doesn't think so or they are fooling themselves. They brought home some peacekeeping troops from Afghanistan who ended up dying in a plane crash.

It was simply a vote for appeasement. They've forgotten what happened to Europe when they appeased Hitler. It's not possible to reason with bullies.
