You are substantiating my point.

Can anyone name any terrorist org that was ever subdued by anything but force?

The Japanese Red Army.
The leader is in a Japanese prison.
One operator is in a US prison. Most of the rest were killed...a few are believed to be in Damascus.

Germany's Red Army Faction...also known as the Baader-Meinhof gang. Most were killed in raids in Germany. Four allegedly committed simultaneous suicide in German prisons.

Peru's Shining Path...Many killed. Six or seven leaders in prison. Still operating on a reduced scale. Anti-terror combat OPS are still conducted in Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay.

The PLO and IRA have certainly not been subdued by non-forceful methods.
