Bob, it really is a strange situation. Trade is a complicated issue and Kerry has tried (at least when I have heard him speak) address the issue straight up.

The media has been playing it in simple terms (and frequently inaccurately). Of course this tends to help Kerry (your point of playing both sides).

But for those of us that understand, Bush's trade policies are wrong and Kerry is correct.
