CR - your post is thought provoking. At least you do not address the issue with flame. What I would say about trade is that it is another one of those issues that deserves a legitimate and open debate. For instance - both men favor farm subsidies. High sugar prices drive candy makers to Canada. Is Kerry against the Louisiana sugar cane farmers? I doubt it. I submit that neither individual is correct and that what is correct is the need to form a national consensus backed up by action. The flame thrower approach of an eledtion year makes such a discussion impossible.
