Call me a sixties guy but i find something profoundly immoral in going to fight a war you were dead against for future personal gain. Maybe i missed something when i studied the nurenberg trials regarding personal responsiblity for ones actions. Or maybe kerry missed it?
If the 60s left was really honest with themselves, they would be far more appalled at Kerry's vietnam path than with either bush joining the reserves or clinton avoiding the draft. But of course kerry may have realized that too and that might parially explain the anti-war kerry that popped up when he arrived home. Mike
