I say this one last time -- during Clinton's time, people rarely lost jobs, and even if they did, they got another job BEFORE THEY WERE TO BE DROPPED FROM THE UNEMPLOYMENT STATISTICS!!!!

<<How are the numbers different than the ones you use to judge Clinton's unemployment numbers. If it is the same (and I think it is), everything you say is just hot air.>>

A couple months ago the unemployment rate went down from 6% to 5.7%, not because there were more jobs, but because 300,000 people had given up looking for jobs.

There's a hell of a big difference between reducing the unemployment rate by growing the number of jobs and reducing the rate by cutting the size of the work force.

One is a very good sign for the economy. The other is very troubling.

The US has to create something like 200,000 jobs every month just to keep up with population growth. We're nowhere near that as i'm sure you know.
