Once again, you're playing games because you have no defense. That is exactly what you are doing. You make false statements and then try to show that something similar to the false statement is true even though the actual statement is false. That is a far better example of "playing games" then anything I have posted here. When will you think first about your country and not your party? Always. What part of TP's comments were lies. You are starting to muddy up the waters again and I don't want to misunderstand your point. BTW I thought the argument was with JF, not TP. I believe JF joined in the counter attack but my objection was to TP's statement - "Bush said, in effect, there absolutly - positively - as God is my witness ARE WEAPONS in Iraq and he is going to use them to blow up american cities within the next few months." Message 19877535 Bush's VP said it. 1 - No he didn't. He did say “Stated simply, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies and against us.”" Which is not the same as "there absolutly - positively - as God is my witness ARE WEAPONS in Iraq and he is going to use them to blow up american cities within the next few months." 2 - I agree that Bush is not off the hook for statements Cheney makes, at least ones that he does not himself speak against. However it still is a false accusation to say Bush said something when Cheney said it. It is doubly false if Cheney didn't actually say it but rather something less extreme that what Bush is being accused of saying. Tim
