1938?? I shudder to think what lies ahead in terms of world chaos if we parallel those years between 38 and 55. When you look at the events from the 20's to the present it seems like the needle is stuck on a record. Humanity can't seem to turn the corner and learn the lesson that it isn't a productive avenue to resort to violence for problem resolution. We never have gotten very far beyond the first world war. Maybe it's all the fault of John Wayne and those machismo western movies. Those movies made the "shoot um up mentality" seem like such a glorious lifestyle. We're a society of gamers with winners and losers. We have to have the biggest toys cause we hate to lose. Our society has no tolerance for anything but No 1!!
