"Some day we will get around to talking about the real credibility problem – John Kerry. Some day we will discuss Kerry’s economic plan, criticized by Allan Greenspan as isolationist and dangerous to our economy and the world’s. Some day we will discuss Kerry’s votes to gut our defenses and the CIA. Some day we will discuss how Kerry wants to ally with France and Germany who have said that they want to reduce America’s power in the world. Some day we will discuss Howard Dean’s accusation that Kerry has no credibility because of his constant reversal of positions over his long tenure in congress."

Cheney has criticized Kerry for his votes to cut Intelligence, the vote against funding the troops in Iraq, cutting the B2, the F-16, the Apache, the Tomahawk and the Bradley.

Cheney is on record as DoD Secretary as saying he did not need anymore M-1s, F-14s, or F-16s , but this is not even close to being the CUTS which Kerry proposed and voted for. Kerry cuts include:

- Cutting 1.5 Billion from intelligence spending (at a time when we demonstrably needed more intellegence - post WTC attack # 1)
- Elimination of all funding for the B2
- Limiting F-16 production to 6 (not even enough to keep the Thunderbirds in the air)
- Against funding for the troops in Iraq (yes this includes the body armour that Kerry criticized Bush for not providing)

and on and on and on

Selby and Specter are not running for President, when they do, we can discuss their record on defense.

Kerry campaigned for congress on a platform of cutting defense and intelligence. In this he kept his promise.
