Frankly, I am amazed that there has been no investigation into this. I remember watching the news program live on TV and shouting "Get those people out of there! Buildings will collapse!" and people in Stars & Bars (that's the texmex resto I was passing in front of what I heard the commotion and went in there to watch the TV) saying "Naaah! Those buildings are strong!". We all know what happened next.... I was horrified to hear later on that a lot of the people who escaped after the two planes hit the buildings were ordered to go back in and resume work. The responsible idiots should be prosecuted. The 2 classic methods used to be cement or asbestos Asbestos doesn't really help in this case because you are trying to prevent the transmission of heat to the steel structure, rather than prevent something from catching fire. Encasing it in concrete is the only mainstream solution. The end-result resembles reinforced concrete, except that the concrete on the columns is just a jacket to the steel, and does not have to be strong. "THAT FLAME COULDN'T HAVE MADE THE BUILDING COLAPSE!" Any fire can make a steel structure collapse if it goes on long enough and covers enough area. This one went on quite long enough and we have to admit it covered the entire square section of the buildings in question. And there is the jet fuel from a full tank on a long-distance plane. The combination makes for a very credible collapsing of two steel structures from high temperature fires.Thank you. You are welcome. What is right is right. That is not to say, of course, I have much good to say about Bush. Still, I don't believe at all that he was "the mastermind behind 9/11 attacks", since my I cannot see him capable of carrying out long term planning of simultaneous terrorist attacks. Nor chewing gum while walking down the street, for that matter -g-
