Now, thanks to the courage of George Bush (and unlike the leftist wimp, Bill Clinton) the world has what it needs to rest assured that Iraq no longer poses a threat to anyone.

The world correctly did not consider Iraq a threat in 2002, despite the flood of Neocon propaganda.

Thanks to Bush, however, the world knows that it is threatened by the U.S., with its massive arsenal of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons.

Tom

Sorry, but the Bushies invaded because they believed that Saddam had WMD in the present tense. It was not because the knew they had them in the past. He said their threat wans imminent no matter what euphemism you want to use. They sold that story to the Congress and the nation and a few witless Coalition Members who were probably bribed. The Brits were sold by Tony. The rest of the world wasn't convinced and we now know why.

But the question remains, why would Saddam destroy or ship his WMD out the country if he knew he was going to be invaded...he would have had them for that very reason, ie as a deterrent. He would have inflicted heavy casualties upon us if he had them and used them.

What is meaningless is if we can't find them after insisting to this day that he has them.
