Can you find any holes in this analysis? members.fortunecity.com ******** Re: Telemarketers -- I had much the same reaction last week when a telemarketer called to try to sell me a seat at a Bush fundraising dinner. After making a brief effort at her "pitch" she listened to me destroy Bush's credibility for about 3 or 4 minutes. She made a weak rebuttal about how "all Presidents" have abused their office by flying around the country to collect bribes. But then she toned down when I asked her as a taxpayer how she would feel about being a citizen of say, Portland, OR, where the City was forced to pick up a tab of $800,000 when Bush came to town to collect his bribes from the fat cats. She just listened and then listened some more. My final salvo was to ask her to spend the time to educate herself about the Bush crime record, and I promised her that if she would, she'd hate George Bush as much as I do. She didn't have much of a reply to that.....
