Do you think Shrub was in rehab instead of doing his National Guard Duty or working on a campaign? I think that's the most reasonable explanation.

Oh yeah, Bush lied to the American People about the invasion of Iraq.

Sure is tough getting any of that crap to stick to the war hero isn't it Brum? You keep trying though it's your only hope when all you've got running is a deserter. A stupid one at that.

Soon I expect to see lists of people who Kerry has murdered like the ones they had listing all the people Clinton killed.

Kerry's mistake is trying to tell the public that he does not recall the meetings...as if a plan to assasinate senators is one of those daily mundane things in life that we all could forget. And he now digs his hole deeper with an additional lie. That is wrong. Honesty would have been the best approach.

Think about it. If you attended a meeting where people were planning on killing senators of our country, is that something you would forget?

Mr. Nicosia generally declined to speculate on why Mr. Kerry had denied being present. However, the author did observe, “Especially if you’re running for president, you don’t want to be associated with a plot for assassinating people.”

Thanks for the post. It does go to show that though he was keen to end the war in Vietnam and bring his fellow soldiers home, he did not want to do it the violent way. Instead, he wanted to use legal means such as through the exercise of his right of representation etc.

Reagan had memory lapses about Iran Contra and his famous words where he asked if people remember what they ate for dinner 2 weeks ago.
