A year from now I expect the "US Did the Right Thing" % will be much higher.

It is unfortunate for the Iraqi's who look for a peaceful move to a representative progressive democracy have had so many obstacles to their freedom. It is bad enough that numerous nations would use the UN as a tool to plunder the Iraqi's, but worse yet in addition to having to eliminate the remnants of the Baathist regime the liberation of Iraq has drawn many terrorists to Iraq. These terrorists would rather kill the Iraqi's than let them live free and prosperous.

BTW thanks for your recommendation of Croatia I will look into it. Presently I am leaning towards the land down under next Winter vs Spain this Summer.

Majority (57%) Says U.S. Did the Right Thing In Going To War.

... a majority of US citizens.

Secondly, another quote from the poll:

"And more than half of Americans (55%) think the administration misanalyzed or misinterpreted reports that indicated Iraq had banned weapons (up from 36% in a Newsweek poll last May), while 35 percent disagree."

One Year After Start Of Iraq War, Majority (57%) Says U.S. Did the Right Thing In Going To War.

A great many Americans still believe that Saddam was responsible for 9/11 and that attacking Iraq was an excellent way to weaken al-Qa'eda.

I wonder why they believe that.

How many Americans do you think would say a year later, if we attacked North Korea tomorrow and the nightmare atrocities of that horror factory were revealed to all, and Kim Il Sung was captured, that we'd done the right thing?

Do you, Michael, believe we should bomb North Korea now? Unlike Iraq, they've got WMD.

Our resources are limited.

Check out Afghanistan, btw:
