wow... that is one extensive post.... and I am about to finish my taxes... so forgive me but I am under the threat of my tax man to deliver or else put me at the bottom of the pile... therefore I will have to delay my response to a most excellent post.

However, I must clarify my statement in re: Anarchy...

I wrote:

Yes, and Villainy is the business of government, and so is of Anarchism...

In response to your quote

Cui prodest scelus, is fecit: "He who profits by villainy, has perpetrated it." --Seneca

It was in error how I phrased it so I will re-phrase thus:

Yes, and Villainy is the business of government. Now [villainy] is also the business of Anarchism.

I mean that those in pursuit of total and absolute freedom of the individual at a given point they must create havoc by all means to bring down a coercive government. Acts of villainy would be the strategy to the creation of havoc and eventual downfall of the government. --not unlike the terrorists are attempting.

I brought it up with the intent to question your reasons (as well as those of all others) to suggest that 9/11 was an orchestrated effort by [what would have to be a totally evil and deranged government in the extreme]...

I am guessing that such motivation/reasoning is fuel by a desire to instill doubt and restlessness amongst the populi, who would otherwise be comfortable with the government's explanations.

Mencken indeed mentions something to the effect...

"The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost invariably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And if he is not romantic personally, he is apt to spread discontent among those who are."

So.... having clarified that... I go back to my tedious task that must be completed tonight, no option available...

one last thought...

Perhaps it is valid to think that the government has taken advantage in the extreme of the 9/11 situation to become coercive and attempt (and so far succeed) to accomplish their own agenda...

To me it has been clear that the Iraq invasion had nothing to do with 9/11 or WMD... it has to do with oil and also that gate to central Asia you and I have separately addressed.

Personally, I am elated that they finally took Saddam out... but I believe that is small potatoes in terms of what it appears to be a very dark and deep hidden agenda... I am not quite sure exactly where this will lead us ... but I believe it will get quite ugly before the fat lady sings....

I honestly do not know which one is worse... the neocon wackos, the conspiracy wackos... the patriotic psychos, or the other sundry array of maniacs that range in different levels of wak-o-mania...

It seems that common sense has ceased to be "common" or worse, that it makes any sense at all...

Quite frankly, I am reaching the point of heading off to some Caribbean or better yet, South Pacific island and see if I can secure a front row seat (via CNN) of the impending madness that it is about to befall upon us....

I have seen this movie before, and it is carrying a strangely similar and familiar course... the problem is made worse by the fact that there are important changes that the majority of the populi not only have not realized it is happening, but worse... they perceived it as "normal”; by the time their comfort level gets not so comfortable, it will be far too late for tears... The green monster will simply bite their head off and it will be seen as the most normal event of everyday life...

Oh well...
