"Candente - I spoke with them today and they never plan on building a mine so it's not an issue. They intend to stay focused on their core competency, exploring, and leave the mine-building to whoever they can vend their properties to. So, crack-up boom has little direct impact on them."

I confess to limited understanding of the fundamentals, but it seems to me that if the CAPEX is higher it would reduce the value of the project to a potential purchaser.

Maybe this increased costs concern should make advanced deposits a priority where construction/mining contracts have already been negotiated. Metallica with Cerro San Pedro (Au/Ag) signed their site development and mining contract with Washington Group and construction is underway, and Rio Narcea signed their construction contract with the PEAL Group of Spain for work at Aguablanca (Ni/Cu/PGM's) where construction has been progressing rapidly.

Metallica is one of my core positions and a longterm favourite, and Rio Narcea is one that I only began a position in late last week @ $2.79 CDN.
