You guys need to give it up on the sand-bagging thoughts. There are rules on timing and recognition of expenses and revenues. There are also rules on capitalization. When you choose one, you stick with it. You don't change methods to sand-bag a quarter. I don't think Hector or the external auditors want to go to jail for manipulating financial reports.

I think the truth lies with big-assed die on small-assed wafers and JV costs that require someone's attention. 90nm will help with the first problem, but I'm not sure the CFO thinks the second one is a problem. Maybe I misunderstood what was said during the Q4 CC about significant savings that would be realized later in the year. And I thought I heard someone jump in and tell an analyst (Q&A) that it would be sooner as opposed to later. Maybe I was hallucinating.
