I recently formatted my hard drive and can't remember how to change several settings from the default mode. I am using w98se and want to have temporary or cached files eliminated at shutdown. I'd also like to eliminate the auto remember mode especially as it applies to passwords. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

There seem to be a glitch or two after the resurrection of SI. Can someone repost post #'s 40248 and 40235. They are in my public inbox but I can't read them. I get an error message saying "the message cannot be found"
