I have said here repeatedly that leftists are liars. Now Bush needs to hammer this thing like there is no tomorrow. It is not enough to simply release it to the media. The media hates Bush. The GOP needs to be nimble here, hitting the Democrats hard and constantly. You see, they and the press do not wish to know the truth and they do not wish anyone else to know it. The truth is not in these people. So the GOP, not Bush, but the GOP machine needs to hammer it, keeping this thing going in the press for the next few months at least. We ought not here a single thing about the economy. If the Dems begin to talk economy, Bush and the GOP ought to steer the thing right back to Clarke and the weakness of the Dems to protect the country. By the time it is over, the Dems should fairly curse themselves.

He was just quizzed on this by the committee, his reply basically was Bush made him say it, then he quickly followed with not uncommon several Presidents made him do that. hehe. What a futz. The inquisitor said, I am sorry but I dont find your explanation believable. But, the bottom line is some reporter needs to follow up the facts, if they are true as presented on the tape then Clarke is now lying, then someone ought to try and find out WHY he is lying. Could make a heck of a good investigative reporter story, might blow the Democrapic party right out of the water. This election is shaping up to be far more then an ordinary election. Maybe we actually have a civil war going on here. jdn
