Interesting - I had read that before. I believe that's also the case in Christianity and Judaism. How do they get around this? What is the "exception" or rationale that the suicide profilers give to their targets to justify this?

That is correct. There is no such thing as the "quick method" to heaven in any religion, imo. Only crooks know the "fast way" for you to make money. Give them your money and they will double it, triple it in no time. Blow youself up in bus or cafe and you will instantly earn a place in heaven and get the added bonus of eternal orgasm with a bunch of virgins.
