What if the two testimonies were contradictory - which one would you believe - the one for the book money or the other? If they are different - should he be tried for perjury?

And I'm sure you have an idea of what Clarke#2 is trying to sell.

Which Clarke do you think is telling the truth?
And are you aware Clarke#2 has been recorded saying Clarke#1 was lying?
