This is just stupid.

You're saying our government and army have no responsibility to protect and defend us. That's what we're discussing: how well they lived up to their responsibilities, not if they're culpable in the crimes committed against us.

You do know that negligence can be a crime don't you?

Why lock your door? The thief is to blame if you're robbed.

Is this really the quality of argument you're promoting?

FDR fired the admiral (Richardson) who warned him
against concentrating the Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor.

Then, after the attack occurred, FDR blamed Richardson's
replacement and fired him too!
