Our economic power is now in decline, as the record prices of gasoline give evidence.

The real prices are far from record highs only the nominal prices are at record highs. Even if the real prices were at record highs that would not be enough to indicate that our economic power is in decline.

Who do you think is buying 25% of the oil produced daily in the world? Have you not noticed all the $40K SUV's at the gas station?

Do you think the high gas prices have something to do with boutique gas? ALL of them? Or individual State Gas Taxes? ???
