I'm sorry. I did not see the show. But I am curious. Perhaps when you get the chance you might describe the potential benefit Kissinger sees in Rice's public testimony under oath.

I see very little benefit here because she has a mine field of leftist media outlets waiting to destroy her at any moment. The least thing she does will be spun against her. She is wondrously bright, one of Bush's greatest assets by far, if not THE greatest (though Cheney is awesome). But I do not see her being able to overcome this.

Back on Cheney. I am really starting to like the guy. He has such an understated, direct and utterly clear delivery that you hear his message and only his message. He gets out of the way and the message comes shining through. With Kerry (and even with Bush to a much lesser extent), you hear a lot of goofy personality. The message gets clouded. When Kerry countered Cheney by saying something like "They have found Dick Cheney in an undisclosed location and sent him to attack me," I just cringed for the guy. He actually thought that was clever! What a friggin' dweeb.
