<why THEY let A-Q do the damage to the US.........> They, taken as a whole, did exactly that -- they worked to protect the United States against terrorism. Their complaint about George Bush is that he did not work towards protecting the United States against terrorism -- and they find that unacceptable, as do I and many other people. The partisan political crowd would like to brush all this aside by calling it politically motivated criticism. But there is much more to the criticism than politics -- this is about the performance of the Bush Administration, and its serious shortcomings and mistakes in national security. If you are interested in the national security of the United States, you should be asking critical questions about the performance of this Administration.
